Disco Dal'ona

TootArd (توت أرض), meaning «strawberry» in Arabic, is a Syrian band from Majdal Shams, now based in Bern and Haifa. The brothers Hassan and Rami Nakhleh founded the group in 2010 and tried a variety of styles. Their first album, Nuri Andaburi, was heavily influenced by reggae, their second, Laissez Passer, — by Tuareg music, and their third, Migrant Birds, was inspired by Arabic dance music. And now their latest single is a disco with groovy oriental solos on vintage synthesizers in the style of Omar Suleiman.
