An independent editorial project about music, people, and the cultures that connect them.
We build a living music library and publish stories that help listeners discover the world beyond algorithms.
The project was born from the desire to systematize traditional music and introduce the listener to the diversity of melodies that exist outside the “music market” and restrictions such as “rap, rock, pop, classical and jazz.”
Staying true to this idea, we are gradually creating a tool for musical anthropologists to help reconstruct the historical development or “genetics” of genres and styles - similar to what literary scholars and folklorists were given by the systematization of fairy tale plots.
