"Melodi" - the second album of the duo Kit Sebastian, consisting of Kit Martin and Merve Erdem. Unlike the first album, which was mainly dedicated to the Middle East, this release paints pictures in the imagination from around the world, from the Italian Riviera to the Caucasus Mountains, from the beaches of Bahia to the streets of Istanbul and Paris. In a world with a slower pace than before the coronavirus, the group was able to spend more time in the studio, which greatly expanded the range of instruments in the arrangements. In this work, you can hear the citra, harpsichord, bulbul tarang, balalaika, organ, brass and string instruments, giving the album additional depth and orchestral texture. Working on the vocals, Merve took inspiration from Turkish singers of her youth, creating a slightly more melancholic style, but more poignant than on " Mantra Moderne". Music videos were released for the songs Agitate and Yeter.
