Glåsbird
Norskfjǫrðr
Whitelabrecs · 2020
The imaginary journey of musician Glåsbird through the Norwegian fjords to the Barents Sea. The first two albums were dedicated to almost deserted Greenland and Svalbard, but the landscape of northern Norway is occasionally complemented by villages and a road network connecting islands, peninsulas, and mountains. While the previous albums used strings and piano with a lot of reverb, reflecting the cold and harsh expanses, Norskfjrðr features acoustic musical instruments that remind of human presence in these places.
