«Aiy-Kherel» in Tuvan language means "beam of moonlight". In 1994, the group was founded by one of the most talented masters of throat singing, Vladimir Serenovich Soyan. The repertoire of «Aiy-Kherel» includes throat singing performed in five styles: khoomei, kargyraa, sygyt, borbannadyr, and ezengiler. Accompaniment is played on traditional Tuvan instruments: igil, chanza, limbe.
