Like A Fable

Six years after the release of Love If Possible, Shintaro Sakamoto (坂本慎太郎) presents his fourth solo album Like a Fable. The frontman of Yura Yura Teikoku (ゆららゆら帝国) keeps on developing the unique sound of his native island, skillfully blending city-pop and yacht rock with elements of surf music and Phil Spector-inspired '60s American pop.

_Like a Fable _consists of ten tracks about a daily life amidst the global shifts caused by the pandemic. Sakamoto, consistently refreshing his style, has made Like a Fable his most pop-oriented album so far.
